Major funding for the Murfreesboro
Youth Orchestra comes from private donations. Other support
comes from the city of Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, fundraisers,
foundations, civic organizations, financial institutions, Middle
Tennessee merchants, and the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
This project is funded under an agreement
with the Tennessee Arts Commission and The National Endowment
for the Arts. Five percent of all contributions are placed in
the Bob Bovie Endowment that secures the financial future of the
Murfreesboro Youth Orchestra.
